Your data is therefore processed by us and, above all, by Facebook. Below, we describe what data we process on the fan page and for what purposes, and explain our relationship with Facebook. For information on how Facebook processes your personal data, please read Facebook's privacy policy (https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php).
1 What personal data does ANI process when you use our fan page, and for what purposes?
When you use our fan page, we process the following personal data:
1.1 Technical usage data
When you use our fan page, we process technical information about your visit to our fan page, such as the IP address of your device, the time of your visit to our fan page and the website from which you are visiting us.
We process this data for technical administration and to provide the fan page, and to obtain statistical information about the use of our fan page as its operator.
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (balancing of interests) is the legal basis for the processing of this data. Our interest here is the administration and improvement of the fan page.
1.2 Statistical usage data
Information about visits to pages, posts, videos, stories or other content associated with the fan page, interactions with a story, subscriptions, likes of posts, recommendations of posts or comments, shares, reactions or comments on posts, reports of posts or hiding posts, clicks on links on other pages that lead to the fan page, mouse movements over names or profile pictures to preview content, clicks on buttons on a fan page, and the device (computer or mobile device) you are logged in with, views of and reactions to events, clicks on a link for event tickets, initiating a Messenger conversation, visiting fan page shops, including information about such actions as the date and time of the action, country/city (estimated based on the IP address or, for logged-in users, imported from the user profile), language code (from the browser's HTTP header and/or language setting), age/gender groups (from the user profile, only for logged-in users), previously visited web pages (from the browser's HTTP header), whether the action was performed on whether the action was performed on a computer or a mobile device (from the browser user agent or app attributes) and the Facebook user ID (only for logged-in users) (‘usage data’) only in aggregated, i.e. summarised form via the Facebook tool ‘Page Insights’ (https://www.facebook.com/business/a/page/page-insights and https://de-de.facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data) (‘Insights data’). We cannot assign Insights data to your person.
We process this data for technical administration and to provide the fan page, and to obtain statistical information about the use of our fan page as its operator.
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (balancing of interests) is the legal basis for the processing of this data. Our interest here is the administration and improvement of the fan page.
We and Facebook are so-called ‘joint controllers’ for the processing of the insights data. This means that Facebook and we process this data with the common purpose of learning about the usage behaviour of visitors to our fan page. As the operator of the platform, Facebook collects detailed usage data from you; we only receive the summarised Insights data from Facebook. Therefore, only Facebook makes decisions about the processing of usage data in connection with Page Insights. In the event of such joint responsibility, the EU General Data Protection Regulation requires us to enter into a contract with Facebook. You can access this contract here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum. It contains further details and explanations regarding joint responsibility with Facebook in the context of Insights.
1.3 Likes, posts and messages
When you use our fan page, we process:
Your Facebook username and profile picture,
Your click interactions with our posts (‘likes’, ‘shares’, etc.) and
Your comments, posts, messages and other content that you make available to us on the fan page.
We process this data in order to provide you and other users of the fan page and our other media offerings with your content, the fan page and the fan page experience.
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) is the legal basis for the processing of this data. The contractual relationship between us is your use of the fan page. In cases where your content is used on other ANI media offerings, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (balancing of interests). Our interest here is to inform our fans and users of our media offerings.
1.4 Other uses of our fan page
In individual cases where data processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent. In such cases, we will provide you with further details on this data processing in connection with obtaining your consent.
